Parking + Directions

St. Cecilia Music Center is centrally located in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. On the corner of Fulton Street and Ransom Avenue, SCMC is easily accessible to most locations in the city and its surrounding communities.

SCMC’s parking lot offers 50 parking spaces on a first-come, first-served basis for our events. If our lot is full when you arrive, the following options are within walking distance to St. Cecilia Music Center.

Downtown Parking Options

1. Park Congregational Church, 10 E Park Place NE: Entrance located directly across from the SCMC lot, Park Church charges a fee of $10 for parking. The automated machine will accept $1, $5 and $10 bills but will not provide change.

2. Grand Rapids Public Library, 111 Library St. NE: The library charges $1.10/half hour weekdays and offers free parking on the weekends.

3. GRCC Parking Ramp, 140 Bostwick Ave NE: Entrances both on Ransom St. and at the corner of Bostwick Ave and Fountain St. The GRCC ramp charges $2/half hour with a $12/day maximum or a maximum charge of $6 when entering after 5pm or on the weekends. Their pay in lane machines accept cash, credit and debit cards.

4. Most city meters are free after 6pm and on the weekends. Be sure to verify the schedule posted on the actual meter to avoid fines.

Seating Options
Royce Auditorium offers various accessible seating options for patrons with mobility considerations and companion seating. When selecting your seats online, you will see these seats marked with a wheelchair accessibility symbol or a “C” for companion. There are also seating options for patrons with limited mobility and vision/hearing considerations. These seats have seat notes that appear when they are selected online. Parking
Parking for SCMC patrons, including limited reserved spaces for patrons with mobility considerations, is available in SCMC’s parking lot, which offers 50 parking spaces on a first-come, first-served basis for our events. When accessing the building during a concert, patrons are welcome to temporarily park at the front entrance to drop off members of their party. For additional details, see above.

Barrier-Free Entrance 
Accessible entry for patrons with mobility considerations is available at the barrier-free entrance located north of the 24 Ransom Avenue NE front entrance. Upon entry, patrons will see a sign directing them to the elevator. Select “Level 1” to navigate to the front lobby and Royce Auditorium. 

Elevators and Restrooms 
The elevator provides patrons with mobility considerations access to all three building levels. It is located to the left of the lobby front desk, and a building key is available near the floor buttons inside the elevator. The restrooms are on the “2 and B” levels, with the majority on the lower “B” level. They are accessible via the lobby stairs and elevator. 

Large-Print Program Book    
A large-print season Program Book is available at the front desk lobby during concerts for patron use.
